Buy the Book "Brushtrokes of Hope"
Brushstrokes of Hope is the result of a painting contest that we organized at the Penitentiaries of San Pedro and Obrajes. Initially, the call went out to children ages 8 to 13, but the response was massive and we had many paintings from children as young as 4 years old.
The theme of the contest was “Paint your future.” We wanted to have an idea of what were some of these children’s expectations for life. It’s very difficult for them to express their emotions, they are very afraid of social rejection, which is understandable – given that they experience it daily.
The proceeds from the sale of this book will serve the project “Painting Smiles” to buy milk for the thousands of children living with their parents in prisons in Bolivia
With the purchase of a book 58 children will drink a glass of milk
